When you order the Coop you will be receiving 2 nesting boxes, 1 feeder, 1 waterer and 2 roosting bars.  

Easy. Warm water and soap with a soft brush or sponge should do the trick nicely. Make sure you take advantage of our inventive plastic clamshell design. You can fully open the chicken coop to clean the entire living space.

(Healthful Hint: Cleanliness is not just for the health of your birds. It’s also important for their human family. A clean chicken coop is a great way to maintain a healthy flock. However, ALWAYS make sure to wash your hands thoroughly after handling chickens or touching anything that they touch. Also, if you happen to free range, leave the shoes you wear around your birds’ living space out of your own living space.)

Hopefully you have these in your garage or tool box. All you need is a standard 3/8 and 5/16 wrench or socket tool.

This is a very general question, deserving of specific answers. The best rule of thumb is common sense. The Hampel Ultimate Coop is NOT a jungle gym. Do not, and do not allow your children to, climb on or hang from the Ultimate  Chicken Coop. Also, be mindful that the Hampel Ultimate Coop has several parts that allow you to open and close it. Make sure hands, fingers, arms and body parts are clear of lids that may close. Also keep your body clear of the coop when it is fully open in its clamshell form.

The Hampel Ultimate Chicken Coop was designed to be predator resistant. Its design, construction and use of plastic and other materials were chosen with the safety of your birds in mind. However, that said, it is not predator-proof. We have little control over the creativity and determination of all predators.

One of the advantages of your Ultimate Chicken Coop purchase is that it will arrive to you in one box as opposed to multiple boxes! Two boxes if you order the Coop and Run combo. As such, the box size only permits us to ship to you via LTL carriers.

Please note that LTL Carrier will contact you with a delivery time once they are within 24 hours of your location. Additionally, drivers are not required to unload the product from their truck. This is the owners responsibility. The carton holding the coop weighs approximately 100 lbs. but is easily handled by 2 individuals So, call a friend and make preparations to retrieve the coop when you hear from the carrier.

A liftgate can be added for a charge. Please call 800-681-2448 to speak with our customer service team and arrange your delivery preferences.

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. The shipping cut-off time is 3pm CST. Orders placed after 3pm CST will be processed the next business day. All shipping dates are pending credit card verification for in-stock merchandise. Please allow 2-3 business days for your order to process before it is shipped.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

If we anticipate a longer lead time, it will be noted in the item description

In the unlikely event that the shipping carton or product is damaged during transit, please note this on any receipt that you sign with the carrier and contact us so that we can work with you and the carrier to resolve the matter. 

Please take pictures of the damaged packaging and save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

Hampel will offer the following warranty against manufacturer defects within the first five years of ownership:

Hampel will replace or repair any unit that fails by cracking or breaking under normal working conditions, such that its functionality is impaired or causes a hazard to chicken flock or owners. Force majeure or acts of nature void all warranties.  Labor is not included. This warranty applies to Hampel Ultimate Chicken Coop products only. Accessory item warranties would be limited to what Hampel is offered by the manufacturer.

Yes! There are many types of automatics door openers in the market. The Hampel Ultimate Chicken Coop was designed to fit all Chicken Guard door openers.

The Tractor Kit can only be used with a Coop/Stand/Run setup. The setup with the run extension is too long and Tractor Kit will not work with that weight and length of the Coop & Runs.

The feeder can hold 30 pounds of chicken feed. The waterer can hold 192 oz (24 cups) of water.
